Founder and Managing Partner, Addition

Lee Fixel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Addition, a firm that invests in founder-led, technology-enabled companies. Previously, Lee was a Partner at Tiger Global Management, where he was head of the firm’s private equity business.

In 2014, Lee and his wife founded the Lauren and Lee Fixel Family Foundation, which supports various educational and not-for-profit initiatives. In 2025, the foundation supported the launch of the Food and Agriculture Research Mission (FARM) at Washington University in St. Louis – an initiative to address challenges in agricultural production, food distribution and access to nutritious foods. In 2017, Lee also established the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at University of Florida Health, a clinical care and research institute focused on advancing diagnosis and treatment for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders. 

Lee earned a B.S. in business administration, finance and accounting from Washington University in St. Louis. Lee was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
