Andrew E. Newman, ex officio

Mr. Andrew E. Newman is the chair of the Board of Trustees of Washington
University and chairman of Hackett Security Inc. He previously served as
chairman of Dave & Buster’s, Edison Brothers Stores, and Race Rock International
and was co-founder of the St. Louis Business Journal. Civically he is on the boards
of the Children’s Discovery Institute and the “I Have a Dream” Foundation of St.
Louis. He has served as chair of the St. Louis Science Center, St. Louis Children’s
Hospital, and John Burroughs School. Mr. Newman earned his bachelor’s and
master of business administration degrees from Harvard.
